We live in an age where without mobile phones, we feel life is inevitable. Right from the start of the day till the end, we are constantly hooked on to our phones in some way or the other. So here we have compiled a list of top ten applications which every college student should have in their mobile phones.

  1. Evernote-

A mobile app which allows you to create notes, which can be formatted texts, web pages or photographs. Furthermore, the notes can be sorted into notebooks, edited, searched or annotated. A  free-to-use app works on all platforms which include Android, macOS, iOS and Microsoft Windows. Evernote supports the recording of voice notes also. It’s OCR(optical character recognition) feature recognizes texts in document images and extract them for later use, such as searching or editing. This is especially useful for college students because it lets you easily share all the documents in a PDF or JPEG format.

An app designed for establishing a routine, which could be daily, weekly or any odd number of days. Time management is of the key areas in which students face difficulty. A must-have app for every college student to stay organized and get more stuff done, Any.do is used to add and track tasks, set reminders, create smart lists, and plan your day! You can set reminders for one-time events and at the same time, add recurring reminders for repeating activities and events. You can also get missed call reminders so that you never forget to call back people.

9. Google Drive-

A file synchronization and storage device developed by Google, Google drive encompasses Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. It offers 15GB of free storage through Google One. It is available for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, and a website interface.  

10. WhatsApp-

A cross-platform messaging service, owned by Facebook, it is available on all platforms including Android and iOS. Sharing of notes, texts, pdf and images are all possible, along with voice and video calls. You can also use it for group chats and staying connected to all your closed ones.
